How to Subscribe to Our Online Calendar

The following instructions describe how to subscribe to NCA-MUG calendar events for your Macintosh and iOS calendars.

Macintosh

1. Launch the Calendar application
2. In the File menu, select New Calendar Subscription… (⌥⌘S)
3. For the Calendar URL enter “https://nca-mug.org/resources/NCA-MUG.ics” and click Subscribe: 
   
   

iOS

If you have already subscribed to the calendar on your Mac and you have sync’d it to iCloud, then:

1. Launch the Settings app on your iOS device.
2. Tap your name, Apple ID, iCloud, … 
3. Tap iCloud.
4. Turn on Calendars.
5. After given some time to sync it should appear in your calendar.

If you do not plan to subscribe to the calendar on your Mac or sync it through iCloud, then:

1. Launch the Settings app on your iOS device.
2. Scroll down and tap Passwords & Accounts.
3. Tap Add Account.
4. Tap Other.
5. Tap Add Subscribed Calendar.
6. Enter “https://nca-mug.org/resources/NCA-MUG.ics” and click Next.
7. Hopefully you can take it from there. (I can’t go further because I am already sync’d through iCloud. I’ll be glad to update this with good feedback.)
8. After given some time to sync it should appear in your calendar.
