has been announced in place of the regular July meeting.
We’re asking folks to register by July 7, and
we need at least 10 registrations to make it worth the effort.

Projector Purchase!
4/27/08—Our MUG has purchased a
Dell 1800MP Projector
for use in MUG meetings.
It made its debut at the April meeting.

LOCAL APPLE TECHNOLOGY DEMONSTRATION
1/16/08—Apple's own Aaron Davis will deliver, discuss, and demonstrate
Apple's newest technology introduced at January MacWorld Expo
at Luther Jackson Middle School, 3020 Gallows Road, Falls Church, Va.,
(see map)
on Saturday, January 26, 2008, at 9:30 a.m. In addition, time permitting, Aaron
will demonstrate best features and user tips for last fall's software
upgrades to Macintosh Operating System version 10.5, known as
Leopard, and iLife '08 and iWork '08 software suites. Apple Pi's own
Pat Fauquet, a frequent MacWorld attendee, will complement Aaron's
report with her recap of the best of the new and upgraded third-party
support products, software, and services.
APPLE RECOGNIZES NCA-MUG
1/13/08—In e-mail to the subscriber base today, Nicholas Smith announced
that Apple now recognizes NCA-MUG as an official Macintosh User Group.
